Park Mostec

A Mostec park is a drive away from Ljubljana center, and this family-friendly Park offers activities. It spreads along the spectacular bike route on the slope of rožnik hill. Most Park leads you up to Roznik hill, and a short walk takes you to the hilltop area of Roznik hill, where you can enjoy beautiful sights.

Most Park is a popular spots among tourists. It has many hiking paths. Several hiking paths lead Roznik to bring you to Tivoli park, which reaches right into the middle of the city center. Unfortunately, most trails are not waymarked, so keeping to the well-trodden ones is recommended.

There are also exercise facilities, a children's play area, a table tennis court, and badminton options for visitors. Also, have a quiet spot to spend a good time alone or read your favorite book. Also, you can spread a blanket and picnic with your family in the lovely surroundings.

The city center

Take a bike around the ancient city center, explore all of its major tourist attractions, and treat yourself to beautiful views of the city.

The tour of Ljubljana begins from the town hall. Then, it takes you through the historical city center, whose unique architecture admires you in another way.

From the town hall, you can see the Robba fountain in front of it. Then you walk around the historic city center and learn about the history and culture of all the city's major sights. The ride will take you beyond the cobblers' bridge and past the national library and the križanke theatre to the Kongresni square, from where you will continue to the Franciscan church and connected to the triple bridge further you can go on to Plecnik's market and the cathedral.

You can also visit Ljubljana castle, the tourist's main attraction on a hill above the city. On this tour, you will learn about its history and culture. Also, you will enjoy the lovely city views afforded by the castle's ramparts.

Gruber's canal

Gruber's canal stands on the right bank of the Ljubljana River. It is an artificially made Grubar's canal, planned by Gabriel Gruber. He constructed the Gruber canal to improve the flow of the Ljubljana River.

The bike tour is a shortened version of our more extended tour for visitors or citizens who don't have sufficient time or have time just in the afternoon. We start the term in the center, where we check out the main attractions and then follow the river and the canal around castle hill.

Till Grubar's canal, anyone can easily take a bike or enjoy their trip. But if you want to visit Gruber's canal and enjoy beautiful views, you should take the boat. Moreover, you can serve drinks and food. It's a marvelous experience because we can see the city differently.

Tivoli Park

Parki Tivoli Ljubljana Slovenia

Tivoli Park is the city's most stunning natural landmark, reaching right into the city center. The French engineer designed it. It is only a few blocks from Slovenia's busiest street. Park stretches approximately five square kilometers. It got built with ornamental flower beds, attractive trees, statues, and fountains. Park blends into the slopes of Roznik. It's connected by walking paths and beautiful trails as several exercising stations.

Tivoli park has a spectacular Jakopic promenade, designed by the jože Plecnik in the center of Tivoli park. It has become a well-known informal venue for displays of large-format photographs throughout the year. The best idea to enjoy the Park is by bike. If you don't have yours, don't worry, you can take it on rent.

Spica Park

A few minutes' ride on a bike from the city center of Ljubljana takes you to a Ljubljana River bank landscaped as a park. The Park's name, Spica, means 'pointed tip' and refers to the pointed shape. In the past, Spica was a town beach. However, its pleasant green surroundings and a large area paved with wood attract numerous tourists, and local citizens want to relax and enjoy the sun on fine calm days.

Next to the Spica, there is a new 38-meter-long bridge. The long bridge connects the city with a green district area, the Ljubljana botanic garden. The bridge's super-lightweight construction is for pedestrians and cyclists.

Lake Podpesko jezero

When the summer gets too hot, citizens like to cool off in the lake “Podpesko jezero”. A short bike ride gets you to this small fairytale lake surrounded by the forest. It is small but deep, filled with water from seven karst springs below the nearby woods.

There is a small bathing section for visitors to enjoy in the summer. It is the perfect moment to enjoy lake swimming on the outskirts of Ljubljana. There are also many excellent restaurants nearby that serve delicious Slovenian dishes. Also, fishing is permitted. Tourists or visitors can catch large carp, chub, tench, bass, and bighead carp. Fishing is also allowed in winter since the lake is rarely under the ice.

Iski vinegar

Iski vinegar is a pictorial pearl of nature on the Iska river. This beautiful place with many little rivers, sandbanks, rocky banks and river pools is a gem near the city. An hour of biking gets you to this valley, where you can relax near the river, dip in its freezing waters, go hiking, and explore the rock and vegetation. It is prevalent in the summer when people come to enjoy the perfect nature, has a picnic, or even camp under the bright sky.

Last words

Here is vital information for travelers. Unfortunately, Uber does not work in Slovenia yet. So, booking a bike for your tour would be more convenient for you than struggling for another way. Through the cycle, you can enjoy your trip more. You can meet new people and cultures and spend more time in places you like the most. Many companies give their bikes for rent, but I recommend you to book through an E&E apartment. Along with the best place to live, you can also enjoy their bikes for a trip at cheap rates.
