Soca river is one of the must-see places in Slovenia. It's a suitable place for families who'd like to add some history to their travels in Slovenia. Unfortunately, not many foreign tourists visit this place. Still, schools have included them in their program, making them unavailable outside the peak season of tourism in Slovenia.

A tour along the Soca River

The best path to start your bike trip along the Soca is from Piran or Ljubljana. It is advisable to begin your Soca valley program in “Kanal ob Soči” or “Most na Soči”. However, if you come from the other side, for example, Kranjska Gora, it is recommended to take the route through the Triglav national park to Kanal ob Soci.

On the way to the Soca River, you will find some reasonably priced services. Most services are apartments, but many campsites and backpacker inns have lodged in this area.
